It argues that De Rokha’s harmonic encounter with the Chinese revolutionary program responds to a series of personal, local and global processes and events that strongly affected the poet’s perspectives on art and politics. This contribution then introduces De Rokha as a Latin American revolutionary who identified with the political and artistic ideas of Mao Zedong 毛澤東 (1894-1976), based on the mutual problems, experiences, and aspirations of both regions.","language":"en","license":{"name":"Creative Commons Attribution 4.0","short_name":"CC BY 4.0","text":"Attribution — You must give appropriate credit, provide a link to the license, and indicate if changes were made.
