We investigated the\neffect of patch distribution (depleting or non-depleting) and\nability to return to previously searched patches on\nparticipants’ decision to switch from one patch to another\nwhile searching. Whether or not a participant could return\nafter leaving a patch led to fewer samples and fewer relevant\nitems found.
