A computer\naugmented curriculum w a s designed to promote\nconceptual change in the classroom. Twenty-nine\ntwelve- and thirteen-year-olds, and their usual\nclassroom teacher tried it out. T h e computer\nprograms consisted of interactive simulations which\nallowed direct engagement with animations of real\nworld scenarios in which pupils have control over\nforces and objects.
