These results suggest that people rely\nto varying degrees on separable psychological processes.\nHowever, the relationship between these types of learning\nstrategies has not been explored in any depth. This study\ninvestigated the relationship between feature- vs rule-based\nstrategies in a causal learning task and indices of model-free\nand model-based choice in a two-step reinforcement learning\nprocedure. We found that rule-based transfer was associated\nwith the use of model-based, but not model-free responding in\na two-step task.",
