The current analysis used Tanner\nand Van Hell’s response-dominance index (RDI) to examine the\nimpact of response dominance on comprehension of garden-path\nsentences. P600 dominant individuals showed enhanced\ncomprehension of garden-path sentences, even when controlling\nfor working memory capacity. Response dominance as an\nindividual difference measure has the potential to enhance\nunderstanding of the neurocognitive basis of sentence processing\nand greater cognition in general",
