In three experiments, we investigated whether\nlearners deploy attention to novel auditory features when\nlearning novel words in a similar fashion to the prevailing\nvisual categorization findings. These studies yielded evidence\nof non-isomorphism, as selective attention in the auditory\ndomain shows high context specificity, in contrast to the wide\ngeneralization of attention in the visual domain.",
