Abstract

Urban landscapes exacerbate the impacts of extreme temperatures and weather, and are hotspots for air pollution, flooding, and temperature spikes. Natural systems such as multifunctional green spaces can play a key role in protecting vulnerable urban landscapes while also improving urban livability.
